Quantitative Interpretation Services

Fluid and lithology predictions are made using a Bayesian supervised classification scheme that integrates depth-dependent stochastic forward modelling with inverted data and the
geological interpretation.

A statistical rock physics study is performed to create multivariate PDFs - one for each lithology/fluid scenario at each depth of interest. A probability volume is produced for each specified lithology/fluid combination. AVO stack rotations are also used to help discriminate and highlight different lithology and fluid combinations. DownUnder GeoSolutions also offers a full suite of inversion products. Our sparse spike inversion algorithm SPIKE® has proven superior quantitative performance compared to other conventional seismic inversion algorithms on the market.  The inversion algorithm can output P-Impedance, S-Impedance, Vp/Vs, Rho, LambdaRho, MuRho and a relative impedance volume for each input angle stack.
