A statistical rock physics study is performed to create multivariate PDFs - one for each lithology/fluid scenario at each depth of interest. A probability volume is produced for each specified lithology/fluid combination. AVO stack rotations are also used to help discriminate and highlight different lithology and fluid combinations.
